You’re Pretty Amazing Watercolor

Hi All,

Today’s card uses Gansai Tambi watercolors, but of course you can use pretty much any watercolors for this design. I’m living on the edge by using my color diagonally, haha. 🙂

My house move got pushed back two weeks, so this Saturday is the big day. I think the anticipation must be worse than the actual thing. I hope it is. Anyway, enjoy the video and wish me luck!

Love the diagonal watercolor! The sentiment is as amazing as you – and to think you fit in into the slot between the two. Like the dimension that this gives the card. Thinking of you and hope your move goes well – it will be almost Thanksgiving!! Take care,

Great tip/idea for creating a “slot” to slide the sentiment strip into. Hope moving day goes smoothly and your entire family is excited and happy about your new home.

Love how you are able to slide your sentiment in…pretty slick! I hear ya about living on the edge. Doing an angle would be hard for me too. Some of us just like things squared off neat and trin!

Hi Connie. We won’t be in the new house until the end of the year. 🙁 We’re off to a temporary rental.

Everything seems to come at once – Thanksgiving, Christnas, the move. But it will all be worth it in the end and you can look back and wonder how you ever did it!

Darlene, I just love your imagination with card making. Looking at that stamp. I thought it was pretty bland, and next thing I see is your fabulous card. I am now going to rethink some of my current stamps. I am so glad I joined your blog. Extremely great value.

I just received my ganzai tambi set today. Thanks for recommending. They feel so cool and creamy while blending like watercolors. I used this card as my inspiration. I’ll post it in this month’s challenge. I used a post holiday clearance hero arts stamp set. Hope that won’t matter.
