Happy Wednesday!
I decided that I need to be making more surprise cards for my girls, so this one is for my 8-year-old daughter. I’m planning to put it into her lunch tomorrow. I’m a new follower to the Hands Free Revolution, which is really opening my eyes to the little things I am missing. The author has some great insights for those of us who suffer from daily distraction. I love her thoughts and find them very inspiring.
On this card, the window goes all the way through to the inside of the card. I cut out some kitty paws to put on top of the window frame so it would look like he is holding on. I think she’s going to like this card. 🙂
Enjoy and have a great week!

What a great card! Your little girl will just love it! Very cute….and I love the window.
I also went over to the HandsFree blog and loved her message and have passed it on to my own daughter who is the mother of 2 little ones (4 and 2) with one due any day now. I know that whole getting in the car routine and going somewhere is very stressful for her, too. I think she is so much smarter than my generation at stopping and smelling the roses and not complicating your lives but I think the message is still a good one to read and act on.
Thanks for sharing, Darlene!

I love this card so much, I too need to work on some kids cards for Operation Write Home and this one is a winner. I have some super cute stamps from Penny Black and there is one of a doggie that would work perfectly. I love how the brick looks and the way you made that little window.
