Hi All,
Don’t you just love this little girl? I generally don’t do cutesie. I’m not a fan of the little girl stamps with frilly dresses and all that. But this one is cool, don’t you think? 🙂 Perfect to give to my daughters.
I purchased this stamp at Ellen Hutson in the last couple of months, but apparently it’s discontinued from what I can tell. The only place I found it currently available is HERE at Simon Says Stamp.
The checkered background is the Hero Arts Graph Background Stamp. I colored every other square.
I colored the girl with Copic Markers. Hair is still challenging for me. I’ll have to do some more practicing!
I have some exciting things on the horizon that I want to share with you… First, I am working on a new look for my blog. I seem to be on a once-a-year redesign schedule! I don’t know how long it will take me – I try to work on it here and there, but it’s a slow process. Hopefully in the next month or so.
Second, I am going to be a guest host in the Ellen Hutson CLASSroom on April 15th! Stay tuned.
Finally, I am going to be doing a collaboration with Jill Foster for the month of May. We’ll have something every week for you! I just love Jill’s style, so I am honored to be working with her. More details to come later.
Anyway, that’s about it for now. Enjoy the video and have a great week!!
Darlene

Oh, how pretty and totally cool. I’m also amazed at you coloring Darlene, for me it’s really challenging to color faces but I guess you just need the right shades and practice, practice, practice. Thank you for this fabulous video, as always it’s super enjoyable.

Hi Darlene!
I think your card looks ADORABLE! Your daughter will love it!!! You are always so brilliant with those Copics…I love the hair on your little girl (by the way, she’s an adorable stamp) We are always too hard on ourselves when it comes to critiquing our own work…I can relate to your feelings because I feel that way too at times 🙂 . But Honestly, it really does look amazing…great job! Thank you so much for sharing! Have a great week! 🙂

I especially like the way you “framed” from the side of the sentiment. It’s a great look and one I want to try. A new trick!! Love it! Your coloring skills, as always, are beyond achieving (for me, anyway) but I’ll keep watching and trying.
