Wednesday’s Card: Mosaic Heart Stencil

Mosaic Heart

Mosaic Heart

Hi All!

I’m breaking out the embossing paste again. At first I thought this stuff was too messy, but it’s really not bad at all. I’m kind of loving it… the look is so cool. For this card, I sprinkled some Enchanted Gold embossing powder on the paste. The photo really does not do it justice. The gold is very soft and sparkly – enchanted is the perfect name for it. And once again, I’m using the Filled with Love set with matching dies by Simon Says Stamp. I’m very happy with how practical this set is!

I highly recommend this linen thread by Stampin’ Up!. It is incredibly easy to work with, and it pretty much goes with everything.

Stampin’ Up! is celebrating Sale-a-bration right now! For every $50 you spend, you get a free product from the Sale-a-bration catalog. If you plan to place an order, please consider ordering from my sister’s store. She donates her 20% commission to Foster Kids Charity. Big, big thanks to everyone who supports her. I keep a running total of the donation amount in the right margin of the blog. 🙂

Enjoy the video below. Next week stay tuned for 2 extra posts!

Love it! I don’t have a heart stencil, but I bet I could fake this using one of my square stencils, and masking off a heart shape before I apply my embossing paste… hmmmm…. Time to go play in my studio! 🙂 XXOO from CO,

WOW!! Darlene!!! When I saw the picture of this card on my email and before I read your post and view the video, I thought you had actually cut each of this pieces and I thought to myself: “This girl has SOME patience!!!!!” But then, I read your post and saw the video and it all came together beautifully. I have not tried this paste but it looks pretty easy to do so, I think I’m going to venture into buying a little jar and give this technique a try. As always, you give us inspiration and confidence to expand our crafting horizons and that is truly appreciated. Love this card, thank you so much for taking the time to make all of your amazing videos.
