Wednesday’s Card: Glittery Tannenbaum

Hi All,

I can’t believe Christmas is around the corner! I have one more holiday card planned for next week, then it’s back to the old routine. Well, and one more thing in between if I get it done… maybe Friday. I really enjoy making holiday cards – it puts me in the holiday spirit!

This card is just loaded with liquid pearls and stickles (alert: keep reading for sale information!). And again, I used Gorgeous Grunge for snow. I was thinking about doing a paintbrush splatter of white for snow, but it’s so unpredictable. What if a giant blob of paint gets on the tree? Tragic and not worth the risk.

I used the Derwent Coloursoft pencils on the tree to add the green color.

News: Today only! scrapbook.com has 15% off all Ranger products, including distress ink pads, distress markers, my favorite craft sheet, Stickles, Perfect Pearls, liquid pearls, stains, glitter, distress paint, paper, my favorite foam applicators and spinner rack, and more! I sent the link to my hubby. 🙂

Another sale alert: Stampin’ Up! started their Clearance Rack Blitz yesterday! There are lots of items on the Clearance Rack for up to 80% off. Please shop at my sister’s store. She donates 20% of every order to Foster Kids Charity.

Wishing you a stress-free holiday!

Lovely trees, such a peaceful card. Really like how you did the trees in white and then colored over them with the two Coloursoft Pencils, very nice touch.

I love the “sketchy” and artistic feel of the trees with this technique.

Very pretty card. Could you use the intense pencils on the trees instead? Just wondering?
