It’s been kind of a crazy week. I’ve been sick, but I have continued teaching my Zumba classes. I started a fever last night, so I need to take a break! I’m trying to find a sub for tomorrow, but it’s not easy. I had an audition with SMU yesterday and it went great! As soon as I fill out my paperwork, I will be a sub there. There is a class in the Fall they want me to teach, so I’m looking forward to it! Their workout facility is amazing.
Anyway… onto the card. After I made this card, I realized that it looks a lot like the previous card I made this month with the same stamp set, I {Heart} Hearts. Oh, well. I guess I just like that style! I used a new technique called “kissing”. I inked up the solid heart with Pixie Pink, then I stamped onto the heart with another stamp that I inked with Chocolate Chip. It looks a little tie-dye, which is very different – I like it a lot.
This card uses Sage Shadow, which I think is an underappreciated color at Stampin’ Up! It’s kind of an odd color, but that’s what makes it special! It goes well with reds and pinks.
In the video, I forgot to round the top corners of the card at the end, so that part is missing. I just used the We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper – the same tool I used to round the corners of the center brown part.
Enjoy!

Hi Tess, it’s a uniball white gel pen. In my opinion, the best white pen out there.
