Thanks to everyone who left a comment about my voice-over last week. It looks like 99% of the responses were positive, so I’m going to try and keep going with it. It was so nice to hear from all of you. 🙂
I went back to distress inks this week. I really like the way they react with water. I created the water stains by just flicking water onto the card base. Be careful though – not too much! I accidentally threw a big puddle of water on the card the first time around and had to start over!!
I switched to Neenah Solar White cardstock for distressing and copic coloring. I’ve been really happy with the results. It absorbs distress inks really well and the copics don’t bleed hardly at all.
Are you getting sick of seeing this butterfly? I use this stamp so much!! it’s just the perfect size with the perfect lines in it. Not too whimsical, not too detailed. Just a simple butterfly that fits with pretty much every card!!
I also used, once again, the Thank You Kindly stamp set from Stampin’ Up! I love, love this set – so clear and simple. And every size and font of thank you I seem to need.
Enjoy the video and have a great week!!
