Wednesday’s Card – Cheery Holiday

Candy Canes

Candy Canes

Happy Halloween!

What better way to celebrate Halloween than with a Christmas card, lol! I actually thought about making a Halloween card for today, but then I figured that it’s probably too late at this point. So, Merry Halloween! 🙂

I thought I would use the new holiday set I purchased for my Christmas cards in another way. I really like this set!

Although I love the fun of Halloween and the kids trick-or-treating, I’m looking forward to putting tonight’s candy-eating binge behind me.

Oh, and my next Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft post will be this Monday. Come back and visit for another holiday card – let’s get into the spirit!

Enjoy!

This is too dang cute!! I was trying to resist getting that stamp set and framelits collection, but you might have made me change my mind. I may try replicating this idea with (the all-too-many) sets I already have. Your ideas are so very creative, and I find a wealth of inspiration on your blog!! Thanks for always sharing your fabulous techniques and tips!

REALLY cute card, Darlene! I love the sparkle on the candy canes and how you created the black and white border! So clever! I also enjoyed hearing your Christmas tunes playing in the background. Merry Halloween to you! 🙂

That stamp set is on my wish list and now that SU has come to The Netherlands it’s easy to come by.
