Hi All!
I absolutely love this die set by Simon Says Stamp. The swirlies are just so interesting. I originally was trying to make a card using the tree die cuts, but then I realized that the negative image was even prettier.
This is my new favorite green – it’s called Green Apple by Simon Says Stamp. There is an ink pad and matching cardstock.
Enjoy the video and have a great week!

I love your videos on your card making, but I especially love that you fast forward through the parts that would be very tedious to watch. Your shortcuts really save a lot of time, but you get the point across. Loving your blog!

I absolutely love this card! I never thought of coloring the sequins. Love the die, the colors, everything!

I love this Green Apple CS, it’s a non traditional color but it looks amazing behind this beautifully die cut trees. I’ve never seen that “Pick me Up” stick tool Darlene, is one of the ends sticky to pick up the sequences or did you put a bit of glue on it? I think I need to get me one, I had a very hard time placing this teeny tiny hearts on this cards I made, I wish I had one of this tools, it would have made this a lot easier.
Thank you so much for another fantastic video of this lovely Christmas card.
Darlene DeVries
Maria, one of the ends of the stick is actually sticky. I also find it very handy for the owl punch pieces.

What a great video. So clever of you to custom color the sequins with an alcohol marker. Are the mylar shims you used a “real” commercial product, or an idea of something you came up with that works just perfectly to get a clean cut with detailed dies?
Darlene DeVries
Linda, it’s actually a real product! You can find it at JoAnn’s.

I am loving your contemporary tree cards. The green apple color is great! The sequins seem to be popular. A nice change from pearls and rhinestones.

Excellent card, Darlene! That tree die is so cool with all those swirls; you made a simple card look totally elegant and masterful. I am going to hate to see the holidays end and thus all these clever holiday cards will end. I love your videos.

Hi Keppy. The sentiment comes in the same package as the tree.
