Wednesday’s Card: 3D Butterfly

3D Butterfly

3D Butterfly

Hi All!

I watched a Hero Arts video one time where a woman created 3 butterflies and glued them together – that’s where I learned how to make this card. I used my copics to color in the butterflies – I’m really loving these markers! This card looks really good in person because you can see the dimension. Adding the extra 2 butterflies (instead of just stamping directly on the card), really adds lift to the center butterfly.

I made this card for my Dad – he’s awesome.

I’m planning one or two bow and knot-tying tutorial videos for this weekend. It will be the first time my voice is on the video – not sure I’m too keen on it, but we’ll see. Have a great week!!

Your daughters frog on a lilly pad is super, just think: as young as she is what she will be able to do when she’s 20 or so.
Hopefully she will be able to create things as fantastic as her Moms cards. This is by far my favorite place to come for ideas and how toos, please keep the beautiful things coming.

Oh, I am going to love it here: I LOVE butterflies!! Don’t know why, just do, AND, it looks like I have found the right place for that!! LOL We have had several butterfly eggs on our citrus tree, which my grandson found, and we donated to the Day Care School next door. Turns out they were Swallowtails, and OMGosh the beautiful colors? So vibrant, and just stunning. We were “invited” to the release…took a gazillion pictures, because my grandsons were in school. Those were perhaps on “some of my MOST FAVORITE DAYS” list, for sure!! So, having shared all that, you can better understand my love of butterflies. So, keep them a-comin”, girlfriend! LOL Thanks for the fantastic videos, I am in heaven, watching one after another! Where have I been? Don’t know, but, I found this site, NOW!! So: I’ll be back!!! LOL
