Hi All!
Today I am a guest on the Simon Says Stamp blog with my 2015 holiday photo card! It’s a waterfall card made from a snowman! If you pull the tab that says “pull”, the snowman parts flip over to reveal a message underneath. The final “landing” snowman part has our holiday photo and the pull tab has a personal message. Here is a photo in action:

LOVE! I may have to copy this next year – I love the interactive card and your beautiful family photo. I just started mass producing 50 interactive cards… I find assembly line production quite relaxing… as crazy as that sounds!
Darlene DeVries
Debi – yes!! I totally agree. Sometimes the design step can be stressful. Just being crafty and not having to be creative is VERY relaxing! I’m taking all my supplies on vacation with us over Thanksgiving so I can relax and work on them!

As always, a fantastic holiday card!! I saw the post on SSS yesterday but wanted to wait to watch the video here (a little bias, don’t ya think? hehe)…plus I have a cold and yesterday was bad. I was blowing my nose like every 3 seconds…Nyquil and the Cold Plus were doing NOTHING for me!! LOL Today is a little better so I’m catching up.
The other day (before I got sick) I finished up my daughters set of Christmas cards and I used your little lining up trick for the cardstock with my MISTI!!! HOLY SMOKES!!! What a HUGE difference and I had no worries that it would come out crooked. All of her cards had 4 panels on the front of the cardbase and it was a huge time saver as well!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT!! Just when you think you could love your MISIT no more….right? LOL
Darlene DeVries
Glad to see you got as excited as me about using the misti to line up panels. The first time I did it I was literally jumping up and down with excitement, haha! Hope you’re feeling better, Sandra. 🙂

I am, thank you!! =)
Yes, that was super clever of you, Darlene!! My MISTI always gets a real workout during this time of year because of doing the extra cards for Christmas…thanks again!!

Another one to add to my favorites! This is a really fun card both for the creator and the receiver. The best part is I don’t have to buy any stamps to make it. Thanks Darlene.
Melissa
