Videopalooza Week with Giveaway, Day 3

Big Wishes

Big Wishes

Hi All,

This post is the second for today, so keep scrolling to see the first post!

Welcome back for Day 3! This week I am bringing you cards using the Simon Says Stamp December Card Kit. You can buy the kit as a one-time purchase or buy a monthly subscription for $5 off.

Today I am using the ghost stamping technique with the snowflake stencil that comes with the kit. I’ve used this technique before with stamps on this card. It’s the same basic technique but this time I am using a stencil instead of a stamp. This technique uses kraft cardstock, which comes with the kit!

Giveaway

Don’t forget to leave a comment to enter a chance to win a $30 egift card to Simon Says Stamp. You may enter once per post, so comment on all four posts to increase your chances! See Day 1 and Day 2 if you missed them. Good luck!

Enjoy and come back tomorrow for my final card video using the kit!

      Darlene DeVries

Brenda (and others who asked about the vellum)…I definitely experience warping as well. In fact, I had extra warping on this card, believe it or not. Something was going on with my heat gun and I had to hold it there too long (which, as you know, is not good!). Anyway, I try to limit the warping by holding the gun further away from the paper. It takes a little longer to melt, but it will melt eventually. I also sometimes go close, far, close, far, with the heat gun. That way, it doesn’t get too much heat at once. Does that make sense? Hope this helps a little!
