Video Series: One Stamp, Four Ways – Card #2

One Stamp, Four Ways

CLICK HERE to list all videos in this series.

Welcome to card #2! In this video series, I am using the Cloudy Skies stamp set in four unique ways. You can still purchase the set and get $5 off your order when you use the code REFRESH at checkout.

For today’s card, I also used the matching dies. It’s a fun interactive pull tab! Here is the card:

One Stamp, Four Ways

And when you pull the silver cloud….

One Stamp, Four Ways

You get a special message:

One Stamp, Four Ways

You could use just about any sentiment with this card design. My rainbow strips are cut to 1/2″ to accommodate this particular sentiment from the Woodland Gifts set.

Enjoy! I’ll see you next Friday for card #3!

That’s a special card for someone very special. So if you decide not to be as elaborate, you can just have the card front without the pull tab message. I love it either way and look forward to getting that stamp set soon. Fingers crossed it arrives next week!

I know it was a LOT of work to get the design and dimensions all worked out. Love it!

love all your interactive cards, Darlene!

It looks beautiful even before the pullout. That takes it to another level. Thanks, I always learn something new from you.

This is definitely one interactive card for someone really special Darlene, I love the colors and the sun rays behind this soft clouds. Beautifully done and put together, that took a lot of work but it’s oh!!! so worth it!!
I don’t have any Copics but I think cutting the strips out of soft colored card stock would work good too.
I was thinking and wondering if you film the video first and then write some kind of script, or do you just talk as you are watching it? It’s always perfectly timed, you are truly amazing.
Thank you for sharing Darlene. 🙂

      Darlene DeVries

After I film the video, I just watch it and talk. Sometimes the timing does work out perfectly, and then I rejoice. 🙂

Well, the timing is always on the spot, do you write what you are going to say? Like for this video, there are a lot of little details that need to be said, not just watched, it’s amazing Darlene, from the simple to the complicated and everything in between, you got it perfectly. I love all of your videos, they teach and inspire.
Oh, and this challenge is really cool, I posted a card today and I have a couple more in the works, I’m really happy to be using my oodles of card stock scraps that I don’t dare to throw out.
Have a fabulous weekend, hope the unpacking is on it’s way and everything will go smoothly.
        Big hugs, my dear.

You are so sweet, Maria! No, I don’t write it down. I really get to know the video as I edit it. So, by the time it’s ready for voiceover, I know what’s going to happen. Still working on unpacking, one day at a time. I’m hoping to get a bunch done this weekend. For tonight, my husband and I are going out to dinner for a break. Hugs to you too. 🙂

Wow, that is amazing, Darlene! I love interactive cards but don’t do them very often because they are so much work. Thanks for the great instructions.

This was really fun to watch !! I don’t think I’m ever going to try this. Or maybe some day when I really retire. I don’t know but I am thinking you are a mathematician an engineer and a physicist. Otherwise I have no idea how you can figure this stuff out !!!!! It’s a joy to watch though . Gives me something to aspire to !!! I hope you had a wonderful dinner and a not too physically demanding weekend and I wish I could come help you put all your stuff away OMG that would be so much fun !!!

    Oh so clever!!!
Thank you Darlene, this really is a winner!
I am surprised at how calm and unperturbed you sound, and that being right in the middle of moving and organizing your beautiful new craft room! The hysterics would definitely be very audible had it be me! Best of luck with your new home – may you have many blessed years ahead.
