I really love your card. It reminds me of some of my Christmas cards last year. I used Newton’s Nook “Sun Soaked Christmas”. I’m sure this stamp set was made for those in the States who live in Hawaii and who enjoy warm beach weather at Christmas. But, it also worked perfectly for us in Australia with similar climatic conditions. I used coloured pencils on crumb cake card-stock. But I am going to consider doing a similar card to yours this year to send to those who didn’t receive a card from me last Christmas. Thanks so much for sharing and have a great weekend!

I don’t know that I would have thought of cutting the sections of the background apart. I’d probably have done it the hard(er) way and masked–your way seems so much easier! Love the colors you used–both inks & markers. Really cute little scene, too. Have a great weekend, Darlene, & don’t roast too much in this now-summer heat! 😺 ~ Andrea

Cute card! Yesterday, I was working on a beach card for the challenge. Haven’t quite finished it yet. So now, I think I’ll steal your idea of putting dots on the sand and water.

Very cute card Darlene although not appropriate here in Australia at this time (a bit chilly!!!)

You are the master of paper crafting. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy your posts. I don’t always comment, as I look at so many sites each day, but belonging to this group is such fun. Thank you for continuing to inspire us. I don’t know how you come up with all these ideas, but your dreams must all be in color!

Love this Summery card, especially the paper piecing you did to create the beach and the water, the palm tree and surfboards are so adorable.
Thank you for sharing another fabulous card.

Thank you for the tips about how to fix it just in case.

Darlene, that card is adorable. The little touches of the dots really did add to it. I love how you always think of those little details that just up the awesomeness factor. Always enjoy your cards and videos!
