Hi All!
For today’s card, I dry embossed using the Star Medallion Stencil and then inked the raised areas using the same stencil. It gives a beautiful look, especially with a stencil as detailed as this one. Here is a close-up, although it’s hard to see the raised area in the photo:
It’s easy and very quick to do, if you need a card in a hurry. I spent more time on the sentiment! Enjoy the video.

Who would’ve thought you could do that with a stencil. Thanks, Darlene, for sharing this little trick. Hope your week is going well!

So pretty Darlene! I love the stencil technique- I’ll definitely give it a try.
I believe Tumbled Glass is one of the new Oxides released recently. It’s one on my list to buy because I love it so much for backgrounds.

Yes! I just noticed that it is now available – I will definitely need to add this one to the wishlist.

Thanks Darlene, I actually just received this stencil in the mail so I will definitely try this one!😎

The timing of this video is interesting, because I just did the stencil embossing technique recently. You’re right–the effect is subtle, but really cool. I’ve actually had mixed results with the technique. This most recent time, I used Strathmore Smooth Bristol paper–worked like a charm! I may have to give “regular” cardstock a go again, though. I love how you inked the corners black–it looks so clean, & adds kind of a “how’d you do that?” look, since it’s just in the corners. Great card overall–tfs! 😺 ~ Andrea

Love this card! The black corners are perfect! I’m going to have to remember that when I’m working with rounded stencils!

Gorgeous card Darlene and I love the black corners. Must give this a go. Thank you.

So pretty and soft. Those black corners really add depth to the stencil and such an easy addition for the stunning result. The vellum circle almost disappears and the sentiment seems to float. Beautiful card I’m going to have to try.
