Hi All!
Today I’m using the Sunny Studio Holiday Style set I used last year on this card. Everyone went nuts over this set last year because of how fantastic the stamping results are – especially the bell! I didn’t get a chance to use the ornaments last year, so today is the day. 🙂
There are just two steps to the ball, but it looks great. Here is a close-up of the stamping:
Yep, that’s a blue ink smudge. Oh well. 🙂
Enjoy the video and have a great weekend!

Who could forget your bell card from last year?! It was amazing. The Christmas ornaments make a nice card too. This is definitely a wonderful stamp set to own.

The ornaments cards are beautiful…made a batch yesterday

I never thought to stamp the branch more than once with this set–genius!!! It certainly works, and gives more area to “hang” the ornaments (or bells). I used this set recently, and stamped the ornaments for the first time. (I had previously only done the bells.) I found that, using Memento dye & Hero Arts shadow inks, I mostly needed to use the same color on the shadow stamp as I used on the main ball. If I went with a darker ink, it was just too dark. But having 2 layers of the same color just seemed to give the perfect shade. I just had to make sure to let the ink on the ball dry, so the color on the shadow wouldn’t melt into it. I guess it just depends on the ink being used. Anyway, I LOVE how this card came out!!! Really great design, & I like the triadic color scheme of the ornaments. 🙂 ~ Andrea

I remember this set from last year and how much I loved it. With your latest card, I might have to buy it this year….

I have this stamp set too, I ordered it last year but it arrived too late for me to make then send out cards for the festive season ( more like New Years cards).
The decorations look as fab as the bells, such a realistic look. Great card Darlene, love the colours and I really wouldn’t have noticed the smudge if you hadn’t shown it.

The balls on this tree look so real, they don’t look stamped. You’re coloring is spot on. I love this set! You did a great job on it!
