Spring is in the Air Card

Spring is in the Air

TGIF!!

I used one of my new Hero Arts stamp sets to create this card. I thought about putting together a video on it, but man, it took me a long time to color that dog and cut him and that butterfly out. Talk about tedious!

I colored the dog using one Stampin’ Up! marker (Close to Cocoa) and a blender pen. Some of you out there who are my customers have these products – you can do it! It really wouldn’t have taken that long if I wasn’t a perfectionist.

Have a great day… I’ll be posting a new video tomorrow!

What a cute card! luv it! I thought you had to use copics to get those kinda results. wow. it looks great. It’s a great testiment as to just what you can do with stampin up markers. What kinda paper did you stamp the dog on? Stamping up as well?

Thanks Amy!! I stamped the dog on Stampin’ Up! watercolor paper. It’s very thick and absorbs the moisture of the blender pen without getting wavy.

Cute doggie card, love the swirly words also. I looked at your card, and the “other” card, and talk about a dead ringer! Harrumph, I thought peeps would not do that, kinda a rip-off, isn’t it? Sheesh, at least try to change it up somewhat, right? Hope it didn’t win, then it would be sort of awful, wouldn’t it? Have YOU won lots of your entries? Hope so, they sure are winners, in MY book, unless they are those” random drawings”, then that’s not based on the quality of the card.

Yesterday I started to view your archived posts. Came across your note about the For You daisy card. I was struck by the exceptional superiority of your design even though the other was an attempt at a near exact copy. I think the colors, the stamp choices, and even the ribbon you used made for a much more pleasing product.
