Happy Thanksgiving week All!

A quick note… Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Online Extravaganza Sale has begun! There are several items on sale today only, so if you’re interested, check it out soon. View the list of items on sale, or go directly to Michelle’s store to shop. Have fun!

This week I’m posting videos on Monday and Wednesday (both simple wreath cards to get into the holiday spirit!). Tomorrow I will be back with some Favorites and a giveaway. Then, Thursday and Friday I will be relaxing with my family but of course also checking for some great crafty sales! I’m sure there will be some sales worthy of a post, so check back. 🙂

I love the green and black combination – it’s such an elegant look. I initially created this card as an inlay, but it become pretty high maintenance quickly with all the little pieces. So, I 86’ed that idea and went for a sparkly background behind the Corbel Wreath. I think it’s important to keep things simple over Christmas. It helps to keep our focus on the meaning of the season.

I embossed some Wild Wasabi cardstock with sparkly powder, but to make it even easier, you could use green glitter paper. Here is a close-up:

Enjoy the video. I wish everyone a relaxing week!

Darlene, I agree, I like the color combination as well. Like the black sequins. I probably would have used red not even thinking of using black. For this card, the black is much better and the red I think would have taken away from the simple elegance which is your calling card. Nice card and seems easy to mass produce too. Thanks

I love this card so much! So simple to make yet elegant. Since I have so many cards to make this would be a wonderful card to replicate.

Simple elegance as always. Love the iridescent embossing powder. Think I just might have some in my stash too! Happy Turkey day in advance.
