Simple All-Occasion Card

Hello Card

Hi All!

First, alert! Simon Says Stamp is celebrating their 14th birthday by having 14% off all their branded products! Now through Sunday, use code FOURTEENYEARS at checkout. When they had a similar sale over the summer, I listed all my Simon Says Stamp favorites. I was just lamenting that I spent over $100 there a couple of days ago. You know the routine… I just need this one die. Maybe I’ll do a haul next week. 🙂

Today I used the Altenew Halftone Hello set, which I also used on THIS CARD. The stamp itself gives you a pretty ombre look, without having to shade anything manually. I added a couple of extra details with glossy accents and a Wink of Stella clear pen:

It’s always good to have a few simple cards up your sleeve for those unexpected occasions. Thanks for sharing this one with us. I also like the way you showed us how you positioned your clouds and other elements on the card, That was very helpful. And I must remember to drag out my stamp-a-ma-jig again. The MISTI gets most of my attention these days!

I love this card. Cute, colorful, easy to mail – the perfect card. I was glad to see you use the stamp-a-ma-jug. I love my Misti but sometimes I find the Stamp-a-ma-jig just perfect.

Beautiful, simple and fun. Love the Ombre effect on your sentiment, the sun with it’s rosy cheeks just looks adorable.
    Hugs,
    Maria.

I still use my Stamp-a-ma-gig even though I love my MISTI. Not to be picky…but you didn’t erase your pencil marks! haha…cute card..love the sun!?

Love that you included the measurements in Imperial & Metric! Is this a new feature or have I been missing this the last 2 years?

Don’t worry Terrie. It is Darlene’s new feature and very helpful too. Ha! Ha!

It’s new! I started a few weeks ago when a few members suggested it.
