Hi All!
I’ve done this technique before on THIS CARD. But this time, I stamped my shapes instead of using a punch.
This Best Fishes stamp set is one of my favorites. You wouldn’t think it would be so practical, but I’ve used it so much! It’s one of those fun, ageless sets.
I used my Copic markers to color the fish and added some detail with dots. Here is a close-up:
Enjoy the video while I continue to unpack. 🙂

I’m glad you gave us another card using this adorable stamp set. It’s really helpful when you do that! I also agree with the others that mistakes happen and it’s good to see how you rectify them.

Which card stock do you like better, Neenah or Stampin Up?
Darlene DeVries
For Stampin’ Up! inks, I always use Stampin’ Up! paper (unless I forget!). Otherwise, Neenah is my go-to for everything else. I found that it works great with pretty much all mediums. And, it’s thick enough to function as a card base. The SU paper isn’t thick enough for a base, although their new “thicker” paper is.

Thanks for the quick response. I just wondered if Neenah was the better card stock…

Awesome card! Fun technique!
I learned in a Copic class that if that ink thing happens, you should take the cap off the other end and it should stop doing that – not sure why to do that but I relieves some of the pressure ? It does work though (she says from experience)…
Darlene DeVries
Interesting thought, Rebecca. I will try that next time!

You do have fun with these little fishes. So great to see all the different ways you can use them. I’d say this effort went “swimmingly.”
