Hi All!
For today’s card, I’m using the new Mixed Drinks set by Stampin’ Up!, along with some Tsukineko Amplify ink for the whipped cream. It works pretty much like the Marvvy Liquid Applique (mine turned yellow over the years, so I thought I would try something different). I experimented a little with it – watch the video for details. Here is a close-up:
Unfortunately, the Fluff background is out of stock at both SimonSaysStamp and Ellen Hutson. However, Impression Obsession has it in stock over on their site, in case you just can’t wait. 🙂
Enjoy the video!

Another cute card, Darlene. I also learned what that Neon amplify puffy ink is used for. I was cleaning out my stash recently and came across some. I wondered at the time why I’d bought it and planned to check it out. Now, I know! Thanks (smile). Also, I have passed over this Stampin Up photopolymer stamp set and never given it a second glance. But, it definitely has possibilities. Makes me want to have a Dad’s root beer too! LOL!

Puffy Paint is definitely on my shopping list. Love your card!

Neat card! I have never heard of that puff ink, but may have to give it a try. I have the Marvy Uchida version, and noticed it is at least a warmer white. This seems (at least from the video & photo), to be a whiter white. I was wondering, if you went over the stamp lines with gesso or white paint or something, let that dry, and then applied the ink, if the lines would still show through as much? I know it’s an extra step, but not that big. Something to consider, anyway! Thanks for sharing this, Darlene! 🙂 ~ Andrea

Darlene, I have used liquid appliqué and found it too yellow for snow or ice cream so this is a good alternative! You could also cover your glass with glossy accents or crystal effects to make it look more like glass. This would make a great man card!?

A great male card Darlene. I too, just the other day, found liquid applique and had no idea what I had bought it for. I will do a sample to see if it is yellow and if it is I wondered if it could be lightly coloured for icecreams. No harm in trying!!

Love this. Root beers all around!!
