Hi All!
Surprise – it’s Thursday! I seriously cannot believe I am posting another video. I should be wrapping presents, cutting orange slices for my daughter’s Christmas party, preparing for my other daughter’s birthday party this weekend… but alas, here I am with my addiction!
Aren’t these reindeer just so adorable?? When I put them into the little herd to take a picture, I couldn’t help but laugh – they look so funny!
I am having a dinner party for eight people on Friday night. To mix up the table, I am putting place cards for each of Santa’s reindeer at each plate. Everyone will pick a reindeer from a hat and sit in that place. I’m sure the guys will be like, “whatever”. But I know the girls will appreciate it!! Oh, and I downloaded a Christmas Jeopardy game for us to play. Unfortunately for my husband, that’s the kind of host I am, lol!
These place cards are seriously so simple. I used the owl punch and cut off the feet to make the head. So here’s the interesting part – the video is my first in real-time. Yes, you get to see all my mistakes and unpreparedness (is that a word?)… “where’s the paper?”… “where did that punch go?” Hopefully it doesn’t drag on too much. I thought it was be faster for me to post without too much editing. Enjoy and happy holidays!!

These Reindeer Place Cards are just TOO DANG CUTE!! I wonder what our deer hunters would think of these next deer season? We have a few family members come to deer hunt on our land in Illinois and I think this would be just too cute to utilize (I’ll have to put a bit of Texas Style to it instead of Christmas)! I’ll even fix Deer Pot Pie for the main menu, which I love! I’m sorry if this makes anyone queasy thinking of eating deer but I was raised on it in Texas. 🙂 I know . . . tis the season for Reindeer but I just couldn’t help myself thinking along the lines of next year’s deer hunting season when I was watching your video! LOL!
Merry Christmas Darlene! And by the way, I just love Wednesday’s card . . . AS USUAL! 🙂

Holy Reindeer! Who knew you used to be an owl. This placecard is adorable and I love your idea of pulling names out of a hat or bowl.

Another use for that wonderful owl punch. Love Santa’s reindeer place cards, you are so very talented.

Simply delightful, as always. May the magic of the Christmas season shine upon you and your family . . .

Great place cards. I like your quicker videos. That’s the thing that sets you out from all the rest. It was a bit long so I liked it better the old way.

Darlene, these are so cute! Loved the “real time.” I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who misplaces this or that. Great idea for having your guests pick a name for their seating arrangement. Fun!
