Pull-Apart Birthday Card

Pull Apart Birthday Card

Pull Apart Birthday Card

Hi All!

Today’s card is really easy to make, but it takes awhile because it has a lot of detail. I used a bunch of different stamp sets to create it, including one of my favorites… Page Huggers. I have used this set so many times!

Here is a few more photos of the details:

I created a card similar to this with the Stampin’ Up! owl punch HERE.

As I was linking up the supplies, I realized that Stampin’ Up! retired Tempting Turquoise. How could they??

Enjoy the video!

I like when you use so many different stamp sets together. I like the card! Tempting Turquoise was one of my favorite colors from SU and I have purchased the Brights collection a few times more for the Tempting Turquoise than the other colors. Gina K has Turquoise Sea which matches Tempting Turquoise very closely and Lawn Fawn has Peacock which is a close match. It is nice to have other companies with good cardstock and ink to match.

I’m so glad you decided to do a cute critters card today. I have both the Page Huggers and Chick stamp sets as well as the SU wood background stamp and the various colours of Copic markers. So I’m in business (smile)! It is a simple enough card but still requires a lot of work to complete. So it will have to be made for someone very special. Hope you have a good weekend with family and friends.

SOOOO cute!!!! Love all the little critters–especially the cat! Mama & I just adopted an orange/white stray tabby kitten yesterday, whom we named Ginger. The cat you colored doesn’t look exactly like her, but reminds me of her all the same. We’re keeping her isolated for now, until we know if she has fleas or not. (Don’t want those all over the house!) If not, we can introduce her to our other three cats. Hopefully they will welcome her with open paws and we won’t have a lot of hissing & growling! 😛 Anyway, I love this card. Just the engineering is fantastic, & I love how you put all the animals on–especially the bunny standing on the cat! Thanks for sharing this, & have an awesome weekend! 😺 ~ Andrea

Such a delightful card and fun to watch come together. I love page hugger stamps as there’s so much you can create with them.
I’ve just had my 11 year old nephew here from New Zealand so have been tapping into my inner child all week. While I’m still in that zone I’ll get my gear out and start creating. Thanks for the fun inspiration.

What a unique card! So cute! I don’t know how you think these up. I’ve had a couple days off and the weather has been awful so I’ve been on a card making binge, but I spend so much time thinking up a card design that I only get one or two done after a whole day in my craft room.
