Gosh, I’ve been wanting to do this video for quite some time. I cautiously moved to pocket scrapbooking about a year ago. I say “cautious” because I didn’t want to invest a bunch of time and money only to find out that it doesn’t work for me. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it REALLY works for me. I love it because it’s fast and practical. Pocket scrapbooking truly is scrapbooking made easy for card-makers.
I introduced a friend of mine to pocket scrapbooking and she said it changed her life! She was able to get caught up on the heaps of photos she was so stressed about. Who knows – maybe it’s what you’ve been searching for too!
In the video, I introduce the concept with some examples, show you the supplies you’ll need, and I walk you through creating an actual 2-page layout for my scrapbook. I only showed a few of the pocket pages available (I use mostly these and these). But, there TONS of different pages and layouts. Simon Says Stamp and Scrapbook.com have a huge selection, which you can browse through for ideas. Most local stores (i.e. JoAnn’s and Michaels) carry them. And for fun (and likely an entire night of entertainment), you can view the massive selection at Amazon.
I added a category into the Questions section for Pocket Scrapbooking, so feel free to post your questions there. Scroll down for links to everything I used and photos of the layout I created. Enjoy!
