Ombre Stamping

Ombre Stamping

Hi All!

When I used my ombre ink pad on a die cut for this card, I told you that I would show using it on a stamp in another video. Here it is!

I boldly used it on a pretty large solid-ish stamp, lol! The trick is to press firmly onto the ink pad at first, but then finish with light tapping. Watch the video for detail. Here is a close-up of the blending:

I love these cute little fish – I used them on this card awhile back. They just look so happy, and we can all use that, right? Here is a close-up:

Enjoy the video!

Thanks for showing us how you used the ombré ink pad on a stamp. I’ll have to give it a go soon. Those fish too are super cute. I’m glad you decided to do a video this time of a card without a Christmas theme. Christmas cards are great but you can only make so many designs each year and I’ve got heaps of birthdays coming up!

Love the little fishies!!! Great job on matching the marker colors to the background, too. I got that Ellen Hutson stamp set maybe a month or so ago, and have yet to get it inky. So many stamps, so little time! LOL Glad you had a video up today–with all that’s been going on in the world (at least, all that I’ve heard about), I really needed a break, & a reminder that there are still good people in the world! 🐱 Looks like fall is trying to make another start here in Texas. Hope you have a great day! 🙂 ~ Andrea
