Happy New Year!

Welcome to LiveLoveCards!! For today’s post, I created a “Hello” card for you. The video is short and sweet because the card was really easy to make. If I was going to make this card for a man, I would go with blue and purple distress inks, or maybe blue and green. I used Dusty Concord and Chipped Sapphire on THIS CARD, which blended quite nicely.

I did some ink blending for the background. For tips on how to get the best coverage, check out my Ink Blending 101 post.

Because I used the negative portion of the die cut, I have lots of leftover arrows. I will be using them on my next card (come back to visit Wednesday for that), but I also put them in a cellophane bag to use in my scrapbooking. You can color them to match your pages.

I wish you all a very healthy and blessed 2015!! May you make tons of cards. 🙂

I was so excited to finally see you launching your new blog that I forgot to comment about this fabulous card. I love the way you sponge the ink, it always looks so even and perfectly blended. The arrow die is fabulous, you get to projects out of it, great bargain.

Hi Mamandine, have you tried clicking the HD button on the player? It will switch from High Def to Standard Def. Let me know if that helps you.

It is just to the right of the bar that shows you where you are time-wise in the video. Do you not see it? If you want to send me a screenshot of it, it would help. I’m glad you didn’t have issues with the red bird one!
