October Challenge: Flowers!

October Challenge

It’s time to officially start the October challenge… flowers! I love using flowers on a card, especially because I love to color them. And don’t forget we now have the easy uploader system, so no need to have a Pinterest account, blog, or any other photo-sharing account to enter the challenge.

The last day to submit your entry is Monday, October 31st, 11:59pm CT. One random winner will be selected from all entries and announced on Tuesday, November 1st.

SimonSaysStamp Gift Voucher
The giveaway will be a $25 gift voucher to Simon Says Stamp, one of my favorite stores!

Okay, just to recap the main rules:

  • Your entry must include flowers.
  • You can submit as many entries as you like! However, please submit only one entry per card.
  • After submitting your entry, leave a comment on the entry just before yours.
  • Leave more comments on entries, if you’re so inclined. 🙂
  • To be eligible for a prize, you must be an active member of LiveLoveCards at the time the winner is announced and your card must have been made in the current month.

Are you ready to enter? CLICK HERE!

I just purchased this IndigoBlu Dahlia stamp – I thought it would be really fun to color. And, of course, it was. 🙂

Flower Challenge

I used Fog cardstock to tone down the contrast a little bit. I made the rest of the card super simple because the detailed and bright flower was definitely enough.

Enjoy the video, and I look forward to seeing your entries!

This is a beautiful card, Darlene, and so unique too. Indigoblu has a lot of interesting designs that are very English and very different. I keep telling myself I must invest in one, so I might do this now. I must also keep in mind that you can use Copic colours you already have quite successfully without investing in more. I must keep this in mind!

That card turned out gorgeous. I was not sure about the blue when you started but it really worked. I can just imagine what that would be like in reds and pinks. TFS
