Today I combined one of Stampin’ Up!’s new colors with Crumb Cake: Shaded Spruce. It’s a very bright yet rich green:

I used the new Critter Sweaters set by Simon Says Stamp. All the lines are separate stamps, so you can combine them however you like. I colored my coffee cup with Copic markers. Here is a close-up:

The image is from a Power Poppy set called "Olive and Oak", I stamped it on a piece of watercolor paper with Stazon black ink and colored it with SU markers and damp brushes. The background is embossed with a SU EF but I forget the name.

I don’t use Kraft cardstock very much. I do like the white and red and black though. I may have to buy some better kraft. This is the cheap stuff from Michael’s. I wanted the bandana paper to appear as a true bandana so I used an edge die to create the triangular look.

I used stamps from Gina K Designs, Christmas Blessings and Season's Greetings. These are a few favorites and enjoyable to create with them. I kept this card simple by heat embossing everything with Wow Pale Gold embossing powder. Thanks for looking. Lisa

Santoro Stamps are always fun to colour with Copics but I used coloured pencils for this card on crumbcake cardstock.

I used a stamp from Stately Flowers 5, by Gina K Designs, and a greeting from Season's Greetings. I wanted a bow and needed a longer chain, so I pulled out a set from Maymay Made It, called Christmas Instawreath to add those elements. I colored the berries and leaves with colored pencils. I added the shine with Versamark or a Versamarker and clear embossing powder. I enjoyed making this card.

Used holographic embossing powder for the snowflakes (wished I used white), the silver stripe is foil flakes from Heidi Swapp, Merry Christmas stamp from the Ellen Hutson Modern Christmas set. Added some sequins.

Thanks for this challenge. I used SSS hearts background with versa mark ink and white embossing powder. Heat embossing is a challenge for me at the best of times. I should have re-inked the versa mark pad first. I always seem to get powder where I don't want it, then I try to remove it, but it still shows up in places. I did use embossing buddy but I don't think it works for me. Any ideas? Thanks for looking!

I don’t generally reach for Kraft Cardstock, so this has been a real challenge. Image by Avery Elle colored with Copics. The frame is one of leftover pieces from the mats I made for last year’s cards. Ha - couldn’t bear to toss them out. So happy to use them up!

Another Send a Smile 4 Kids cards. I got 3 sets of stickers at Hobby Lobby, & I've been making kid-themed holiday/winter cards for them like crazy, with the idea to use all the stickers! I'm making sure to add them to designs, though--no sticker sneeze! 🙂
Christmas on Kraft.JPG
Christmas on Kraft.JPG
I used the flower from the Blended Season stamp set. It was heat embossed in a Pale Gold color from WOW. I used the blending pencil from Prismacolor to blend my 3 reds together, 3 greens, etc. The Merry die was in my stash and I had never used it before. I won this die in a Online Card Class a few years ago and can't remember who made it. I used my MISTI to stamp the flower, then to stamp the Christmas word. It needed to fit between the letters of Merry and I didn't want to change messing it up, so I used my MISTI. I made this in September. I am posting it here as it is on Kraft. I loved coloring card. I may make a few more. Thanks for looking!

I used the cut outs from the previous card to create a shaker card. The letters are craft wood grain card stock that I colored with Shabby Shutters distress ink. The inside of the card has really sparkly bits that are for used for nail art. I love the bright sparkle! The background frame is pattered paper.

Kraft Blended Seasons by Lisa K

I saw an idea where the demonstrator watercolored the holly image on Kraft paper. I gave it a try using SU Watercolor Pencils. I think Prismacolor pencils work better on Kraft, but this came out okay. I embossed everything with Wow Pale Gold embossing powder. I added gold embossing around the paper for interest. I found gold ribbon in my stash and added the bow using glue dots. The stamp set used is Blended Seasons by SU. Thanks for looking.

When I saw this stamp, I just had to have it! And I also knew it would be perfect to colour with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils on Stampin Up Crumbcake cardstock. I roughed the edges because that seemed to suit the style.

Pastor Appreciation Card
Pastor Appreciation Card
When I saw this month’s challenge, I said I wouldn’t enter it because I don’t like making cards on Kraft paper. But then I realized that two of them I had made qualified! I guess it goes with that time of year. My husband asked me to make a card for our belated Pastor Appreciation celebration. This was quick and easy. And while it doesn’t show well, the envelope and the sentiment are embossed in gold.
Campfire Birthday Card
Campfire Birthday Card
We were invited to a birthday party with a camp theme, so I did a quick search and found a card for inspiration. I think some of Darlene’s tutorials sunk in as I had the idea to personalize it, but even more of a realization was after I had colored my marshmallows, I thought that I remembered Darlene coloring marshmallows with Copics in a video previously. I thought this added a lot to them rather than just leaving them white.
Kraft Holiday Challenge
Kraft Holiday Challenge
I cheated a bit this year and used paper and embellishments from the Prima Santa Baby line. I had already decided to use Kraft Cardstock for my mats and/or bases before the challenge was announced, so yay!. This is one of my favorites. Unfortunately the sparkle from the glitter paper isn’t showing on the photo very well.

I love this card Darlene, Kraft Card Stock gives the cards a very warm and cozy feel.
The pop of green and red against that pretty pattern really pop.
Another awesome challenge to get us ready for the Holiday season.

Great challenge theme! I love the homey touch your card has, thanks to the addition of the Crumb Cake. Great job on lining up the sweater pattern stamps, too. I know how tough that can be with long skinny stamps–especially to get them all straight! Thanks so much for sharing this. 🐱 ~ Andrea

I have had my eye on a coffee mug stamp set for awhile now. This might be my selection. Love your design. I wonder if I could use a sweater stencil to get a similar look.

Very pretty background. I really like it and the SU green card stock is a nice choice also. Pretty simple once you get all those single line stamps lined up. Thanks Darlene.

Darlene, I love this card, and I think that I have the stamp set, but not sure, and did you do a video on it? Just simply beautiful. I will look in your files and see if I can find it. As always, thank you for the creativity. Fondly, Dottie
