Hi All!
I am still in love with the fruit from the Sunny Studio Berry Bliss set! I used it on this card and decided to use the strawberries on another card. They are my favorite! Can you believe it’s just two steps for this stamp? I don’t know how they do it so well. 🙂 Here is a close-up of the stamped strawberry:
I used one of the new Stampin’ Up! holiday catalog stamps called Buffalo Check. It’s a great versatile, subtle background stamp!
Enjoy the video and have a great weekend!

Those strawberries are just fantastic. It really does look like a picnic when you used the SU Buffalo Check as the background. Really loved the colour combination too. Great card, Darlene.

Love the color combo, and the simple design! Those strawberries do look amazing, too. I wonder how they would look if you used all the steps? One tip for not getting that “blank” edge from stamping with the MISTI, especially if you don’t have the Creative Corners or something similar. Put the stamp in your MISTI & pick it up with the lid. Add a bit of repositionable adhesive to the back of your cardstock, lay your cardstock face down & centered on the front of the stamp, and close the base of the MISTI over it. Basically, creating the stamping “sandwich” upside-down. That adheres the cardstock to the base part, and you can stamp on the cardstock without missing any part of the stamp & ending up with a blank border. Hope that makes sense. I didn’t invent this technique–I think I got it from Nicol Spohr. Someone on YouTube anyway! It really takes longer to explain it than do it, quite honestly. I would advise adhering your cardstock you use for this to scratch paper/grid paper, and making sure that is anchored (like with magnets) to the base of the MISTI, just to make sure you don’t get the adhesive on the base surface itself, which can be kind of hard to get off the acrylic. Anyway, that’s just my two-cents’ worth of advice today! LOL Thank you so much for sharing this, Darlene. Hope y’all have a wonderful weekend–at least the weather is supposed to be cooler! 😺 ~ Andrea

Thank you for the tips, Andrea! Unfortunately, I didn’t anticipate the problem with the stamp, so I had to just fix it afterwards. Oh well, it’s a good exercise in not being perfect. 🙂 I hope you are enjoying this cooler Texas weather (although today was actually pretty hot!). Have a nice weekend.

WOW!! Darlene, when I saw this strawberries on the first picture, I thought you had added some Glossy Accents to them, they look like they have this awesome wet look.
What a fabulous set, love it and your card looks absolutely beautiful and sweet too.
Thank you for sharing.

Incredible card! I have been a fan of Mendi and Sunny Studios since she began and had followed her before that with Doodlebug Designs.
