Thank you to everyone who participated in the June Bottom Heavy Challenge! I hope you enjoyed playing along – I definitely did. It kind of made card-making easy! I hope you’ll check out the entries when you have some time.
Now for some highlights. Check out this adorable cow card by Sarah:
First of all, I love this stamp set! Secondly, I love how all the cows are colored differently. And finally, the glossy highlights on the milk can are a perfect detailed touch!
Next is this card by Anne:
I chose this card because of the geometric shape at the bottom and how it wraps up with a nice embellishment in the middle. I also liked how Anne kept the white border all the way around the bottom.
Check out these little piggies by Crystal:
I noticed that she colored some mud on them – so cute! My favorite part of this card was that the grass started at the bottom edge. It’s a perfect scene for bottom-heavy.
Finally, another card by Sarah:
I always admire a card that uses patterned paper well, and this is one of them! The green is perfect. I think my first thought would have been “we need another color!”, but no, that’s why this card is so good.
Thank you again to everyone who participated. I’ll be back tomorrow with the launch of the July “Favorite Color Combos” Challenge. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
