Jingle Bells!

Jingle Bells

Happy Monday!

I think this Holiday Style stamp set is just the coolest thing. Don’t you love it? This is my first stamp set by Sunny Studio, and I am very impressed. The stamps are high quality, and the multi-step design is fantastic. Even my husband said “wow”, when I showed him this card. You have no idea how few and far between the “wow”‘s are, lol!

Tomorrow is the last day to leave comments for both the Disney trip and the Holiday Photo Card Blog Hop prizes. I’ll be announcing the winners for both on Wednesday. I’ll also have one more card video before Thanksgiving.

I hope you have a wonderful holiday week!

Oh this is definitely a wow card! It looks so realistic too and definitely a cut above the rest. I also like other Sunny Studio stamps. It is a great new company. And we can get them at Auzz Trinklets n Krafts in Australia! Yeah! I immediately looked to see if this stamp set was available anyplace but they are all sold out. Good news for those in the US though. There’s a new shipment due at Sunny Studios on 5 December which is just enough time to get the stamp set, make the cards, and post them before Christmas. Woo! Hoo!

Love this!! At first glance I thought it was a photograph of real jingle bells!!

This is a fantastic card, Darlene! I love this stamp set; it’s so clever and unique.

    Thanks for sharing!

You are an enabler, Darlene! This card was so gorgeous that I had to go order the stamp set.

Hi Mary – where did you find the stamp available? Pray tell!

      • wrote on November 22nd, 2016 at 6:38 am

I didn’t find it immediately available. I ordered direct from Sunny Studios – expected back in stock 12/5. I’ll be anxiously waiting for a couple weeks.

Thanks Mary. That’s where I found it but 5 December is too late to mail to Australia before Christmas. Hope you get it in time!

I’m not planning to use it for this year’s cards, so it’s not critical that I get it right away. I’m looking forward to playing with it, though!

Connie, I got an e-mail from Sunny Studio today saying that my stamp set had shipped and should arrive in about 3 days. So even though it said it was out of stock until December 5, I guess there must be some in stock.

Thanks again Mary! I got a newsletter from Sunny Studios yesterday too to say they were back in stock and there’s a Black Friday sale on too! But I decided to get them for next year and have ordered through Auzz Trinklets n Krafts in Australia. I will get them much cheaper that way here in Australia than buying them overseas. Any other Aussies reading this may want to do the same thing!

I’m so glad you did this video. I got this stamp but wasn’t sure how to make things look good – until I saw your card. Thanks so much.

    Striking card!

The jingle bells really look so dimensional. Just leaving some of each bell white gives it that shine. Just love it.

Wow! This is really neat! So real looking. Do you think you could do silver embossing on one of the stamps? Just a thought…?

      Darlene DeVries

Hmm… I’m not sure that would work because it would resist the other layers. Unless you embossed all three layers – silver, gray, and black maybe.

Oh my gosh Darlene, this Jingle Bells look so realistic, the stamping makes them shine like the real ones, WOW!!
I was wondering why you didn’t use the MISTI for this but I can see that the Stamp-a-ma-jig works really good too, I still have mine but really do not use it anymore, mainly because I never bought the acrylic blocks and, in a way, I’m glad I didn’t spend all that money because having the MISTI is so much better.
I wanted to ask you for a while and I always forget but, what kind of pencil you use when you mark your cards, I love that you can erase the pencil lines completely, it’s really an awesome pencil.
Anywho, thank you for this fabulous video, I’m so very tempted to get this fantastic stamp set, you are the best enabler, my dear.
    Big hugs,

Hi Maria! I use PaperMate Logo 4 pencil. My husband and I actually fight over these pencils they are so great!

      • wrote on November 29th, 2016 at 2:04 pm

Thank you Darlene, I love how easily it erases, I hate seeing pencil marks on my cards, even if I don’t press hard.
I’m going to go and get me some of this pencils, I will hide them from my hubby, just in case, LOL!! 😉
