Hi All,
Just a quick post to show you these Happy Mail postcards I created to send to everyone who is receiving a crafty goody box from my sale last week. I wasn’t planning to make a post out of these cards, but they were so colorful and cheery that I wanted to share!
I used the Stampin’ Up! Layered Letters Alphabet set, along with these inks, in rainbow order: Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi, Tempting Turquoise, and Wisteria Wonder. I used Versafine Black Onyx ink for the letters. They are each 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″.
Hope you have a wonderful week!

Cute idea! Can’t wait to use this set!

Great cards. Started to order the set but then I started wondering about the routine you used to stamp all of the different colors. Seems there would be a lot of “stamp/clean stamp/stamp another color/clean stamp/stamp yet another color…etc.” This would be great use for the MISTI, yet…
I’m SURE that I’ve missed the obvious. (?)

It really wasn’t too bad. I stamped the Melon Mambo rectangle on all 15 cards, cleaned it, then stamped the Pumpkin Pie rectangle on all 15 cards, etc. I did the same with the letters. “N” on all cards, “A” on all cards, etc.

Thanks Darlene! I was stuck on making just one such card, but after I saw your follow-up blog w/another card made same way I began to think in terms of making several note cards at a time.
When I was recovering from surgery a stamping friend came over with a cute bag…and it was filled with gorgeous cards she had made. Many of them were note cards that I could use for thank yous. I was stunned, and really, really appreciated them especially since I had so many thank you notes to write to friends who had been there for my family with meals, and the like. My thoughts now to do same for three friends in same situation using your technique(s).
Yep! I had missed the obvious. Do several at a time.
Great news letters, so look forward to them!
