Happy Halloween

Hi All!

Today Simon Says Stamp is releasing a new line of stamps and dies. I am a huge fan of their stamps because they are high quality photopolymer, they come in such cute and versatile designs, and they always come with a bunch of tiny little pieces for detail.

Last week my daughter asked why I never make Halloween cards. I guess I never really thought about it, but I don’t think I’ve ever made a Halloween card! Treat bags, yes. Cards? No. So why not? This Trick or Treat stamp set is so completely adorable. I was going to use the dog because I’m more of a dog-lover, but the cat just looked so funny that I had to use him instead. There are matching dies that also include the word Halloween, which is what I used on this card. You can buy them as a set HERE.

I also used these frames, which are fantastic because you get the inside, the negative, PLUS a tiny frame in between.

Enjoy the video and I’ll be back Wednesday for another. Happy Labor Day!

Your card is so cute and I just love the UTEE slime!! Hope you will favor us with more Halloween cards! Hugs!! Cathy (also a dog lover!)

Simply adorable Darlene, what a super cute card!! What a fabulous die, it gives you 3 pieces, that very thin frame looks really fragile, but I think the embossing powder makes it a bit more manageable. Sorry I didn’t come here yesterday, I was busy celebrating my 41th. Wedding Anniversary, it was fun, how time flies!!!

Thanks so much for the extra ‘WWDD’ (What Would Darlene Do) video treat this week, such an adorable card! I would have gone right past this die not realizing the unique pieces it gives us in one swipe of cutting, very cool! BTW, last week’s card, just beautiful! You were so ‘channeling’ me with the “yea, not so easy really” thoughts, LOL, but when you show us a card to try and break it down so good like you always do with excellent filming and instruction, then you set me up to succeed! Bless you, Darlene! = )
