Fun Friday Collabo, Week 5!

Fun Friday

Happy Final Friday!!

I’m sad to say that today is my last collaboration day with Jill Foster! It has been so much fun – I hope you have enjoyed it as much as I have. It’s truly such an honor to work with Jill. 🙂

For our final week, we are using Penny Black’s Blooming Garden. I just love all these flowers! Here’s my card for this week:

Fun Friday

I did another pretty clean and simple card this week. I masked off the center area using Eclipse masking tape. I stamped the flowers repeatedly to fill the space. I colored them with a blender pen and some Stampin’ Up! inks (Real Red, Daffodil Delight, and Pool Party). After using the blender pen, I added some highlights using the marker itself.

After I removed the tape, I used a ruler (no free-hand on this one!) to draw the lines with a black marker. I added the sentiment, adhered to black cardstock, and rounded the corners.

Don’t forget that Jill and I will be featuring YOUR cards on our blogs NEXT FRIDAY, June 7th. To be considered, create your own card with any of the sets we have used this month and upload it to the Penny Circle Flickr gallery. Be sure to tag it with “JillDarlene”.

To recap, here are links to first four collaboration cards:

Now, head on over to Jill’s blog to see what she has created with Blooming Garden. I can’t tell you how much I admire Jill’s work.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Love this card darlene. You really know how to get the most out of a stamp. Your ideas are the best and make me realise that I can use a single stamp image to make up a great looking background. Off to see what Jill has come up with. Shame it’s come to and end – have enjoyed this collabo Friday so much.

So simple but yet so very effective. Love the look of all the white with the pops of colors in the flowers. Your black separation set off the panel marvelously. Great job. I’ll miss seeing you & Jill collaborate…you are great together. TFS & Happy weekend.
