Fractile Leaves

Fractile Leaves

Hi All,

Simon Says Stamp is hosting their annual Stamptember event! A month-long celebration of stamping with new products!

I thought I would get a jump on Fall with this card. I used Fractile Leaves, one of the newly released Simon Says Stamp products. I colored my leaves with Copic markers and clear embossed them. Here is a close-up:

These leaves look like stained glass. Really a lovely, simple design. Thanks again Darlene!

I agree with Connie–stained glass was the first thing I thought of when I saw the coloring you did on the leaves! Love the card design, & the subtle background you created. But, does it bother anyone else that the name of the stamp set is misspelled? I googled, just to be sure I wasn’t missing something, & fractile is actually a term used in statistics. I think the stamp designer meant “fractal,” which refers to imagery like this. Sorry, I participated in spelling competitions in middle & high school, so misspelled words just bother me. Maybe I’m just weird that way! LOL Great card at any rate, Darlene! Thank you for sharing this! 🙂 ~ Andrea

This is really nice Darlene. The colours are so vivid. I like it a lot, especially as the leaves are turning colour here where I live.

This is one of my favorite sets in the Stamptember event. The colors are so pretty and the clear embossing sure is a great touch. Love this card.

    Colorful Card Maker

Oh my gosh, I love those leaves! I just won $50 from a Simon Says blog hop and I forgot about these leaves. You cannot imagine how many ways I could do these stamps including what you did with these. I can tell I will get a lot of use from these stamps. I’m also getting the snowmen with the trees. I don’t know what else I am getting but I am getting those 2 things. I can’t believe I won a prize so big! I am so excited! I love what Simon has for Stamptember so I will have a lot to pick from.
