Berry Bliss

Hi All!

I love this Berry Bliss set by Sunny Studio. They have such great multi-step stamps! Maybe you remember the Holiday Style set that I used for this card and this card. I really want to make another card with just the strawberries. Can you believe I only used 2 stamps for this image?! Here is a close-up:

Such a sweet card. It warms my heart at the moment to see the strawberries. We are in the middle of a needle contamination crisis in our 🍓 in Australia. These are just the thing to make me feel happy again. Sunny studio Stamos are so good.

Amazed that you could coordinate all the colors for the strawberry and raspberry. They look great!

I have the Holiday Style stamp set, and you’re right–Sunny Studio layering stamps are AMAZING! This one is no exception. I love the colors you used. I would think the raspberries could also be made into blackberries, maybe with a dark purple or navy ink for the last step. Hmmm…. Great idea too to use the Stamp-a-Ma-Jig to position the subsequent layers. I never think to do that, but it looks like it’s so much easier, even than using the MISTI. Unless you’re stamping multiple panels, of course. I also like how you positioned the panels on your card. Did you do some test die cutting to figure out how far apart to put the rectangle dies? I know you said you wanted the same amount of space between the stitching lines, but I’m not always sure how to figure out exactly where the stitching line lands–without trial & error at any rate. Anyway, thank you for sharing this gorgeous card! 😺 ~ Andrea

Hi Andrea. I just picked a rectangle that looked like I could fit three of. I centered the first, and then eyeballed the next two. As long as you place the edge of the right and left die in the same place on both sides, it should be even. Of course, it’s not perfect, but good enough for government work. 🙂

Looks good enough to eat! While I do love fall, I miss fresh summer berries.
