Hi All!
Doubling up your die-cutting is a great way to stretch your dies. For this card, I die-cut the Petite Butterflies from Woodgrain cardstock. Then, I took a couple of PoppyStamps Ashby Corner die-cuts and laid them underneath.
My watercolor is just the simple age-old “distress ink on your craft mat with water” technique. An oldie but a goodie that can sometimes be forgotten. I decided afterwards to spritz it with a Perfect Pearls mist. Here is a close-up:
Enjoy the video and have a great weekend!

Neat effect with the floral die cuts behind the butterflies. Love the colors you used for the background, too. Btw, the Sizzix mylar shims are no longer available at the link you provided. You can find them at Amazon here, though: http://amzn.to/1MNoTnP. Thanks so much for the wonderful inspiration! 🙂 ~ Andrea

Great idea to use those intricate dies! I have a cover die that isn’t what I thought it would be, so wasn’t sure how to use it. This is perfect. Thanks!!
