Hi All!
I used my Zig markers in a very easy way to create this card. It’s almost like cheating because I barely did anything, lol.
I love this Simon Says Stamp Cora Background stamp, which I also used on these cards. It’s just so pretty and delicate. I thought pearls and ribbon would go nicely with it. Here is a close-up of the watercolor:
Enjoy the video and have a great weekend!

What a very pretty feminine card! I couldn’t help wondering though how the tips of your markers handled the rough heat embossed background stamp. Apparently it didn’t cause any problem even though I would’ve been hesitant to use them for fear it would damage their tips.

The tips of these markers are very flexible – like a paintbrush. So, no issues at all!

Thanks Darlene!

Great card! And it was fun to see a little face pop onto the screen for a quick hello!

Beautiful card Darlene and I loved seeing how easy it was. It doesn’t look easy though! Hugs, Brenda

When I saw the photo, before I watched the video, I thought you had used 3 colors on the background. Then to find out you just used the 2 violets–amazing! I love how you were able to fade the color out on the watercolor panel. I’m curious how well that pearl will stay on the linen thread bow? If I did this, I would be inclined to squirt a little Multi Medium Matte or Perfect Paper Adhesive under the pearl, just to make sure it holds tight. Maybe the adhesive on the Stampin’ Up pearls is stronger than on the ones Hobby Lobby sells. 🤔 Great card, & I really like how you offset the heart instead of sticking it smack dab in the middle. Thanks for sharing this–hopefully all your subsequent cards will be so easy on you! 🙂 ~ Andrea

Love how feminine this is. I haven’t used my nesting hearts in a while, so… good idea. 🙂

I think I just found my Valentine’s Day card. It’s never too early to start thinking about all these winter holidays that come one right after another. Thanks, Darlene.😁

This is just beautiful! I have the zig markers so great to learn about ways to use them. Tell Courtney hello, hope she is enjoying summer vacation and I’m sending her greetings all the way from Ireland!
darlene
Hi Mairead! I relayed your message to Courtney and she said “Wow! Thank you!”

I really like this card. It is so pretty but not “tizzy” and a great opportunity to get out the heart dies. Thanks Darlene for yet another lovely card.

Oh, and hello to Courtney from Australia.
darlene
Hi Glenis. Courtney says hello and thinks it’s “so cool” that someone in Australia would say hello to her! Thank you!

This card is so pretty! I agree about the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers! They make watercoloring effortless!

Love this card. Don’t really have any heart dies, but I’m going to get some so that I can case your card. Everything about this card screams LOVELY!! Thank you Darlene
