I really liked jennyjo88’s card, so I wanted to highlight it here as well:
I love how she used a seemingly basic background die to create a landscape by incorporating multiple colored insets. A great way to stretch your dies!
Another card I absolutely LOVE is this watercolor beauty by Carolynn:
She drew the curves and then watercolored the stripes by hand. What?! Seriously awesome.
Next up is this clean card by Andrea:
Do you know what makes this card special? She used black foam behind the sentiment die. It’s a subtle detail, but it makes a big difference in how the sentiment pops out. Great idea!
Check out this bright and bold card by Niki:
Personally, I love bright colors in combination with black and white. And I love how this whole card is handmade… hand drawn stripes and shapes that fit together beautifully.
Finally, check out this card by Carol:
I love everything about this card… the rainbow theme, the alternating stripes that are opposite on the heart, the negative used around the heart to showcase the sentiment… all of it. What a great way to use washi tape!
Thanks again to everyone who took the time to submit a card – I know December is a busy month! I’ll be back tomorrow with the launch of the January Love Challenge. Happy New Year!
