December Challenge: Repeat Stamping

December Challenge

Hi All!

Welcome to the December challenge! This month is repeat stamping… take a stamp and use it multiple times on your card. Stamp it in a pattern, in a circle, on the edges, or randomly, like I did for my card. Be creative! If you need some inspiration, there is a Repeat Stamping section in the Technique Gallery.

The last day to submit your entry is Saturday, December 31st, 11:59pm CT (Happy New Year!). One random winner will be selected from all entries and announced on Sunday, January 1st.

SimonSaysStamp Gift Voucher
The giveaway will be a $25 gift voucher to Simon Says Stamp, one of my favorite stores!

Okay, just to recap the main rules:

  • Your entry must incorporate a stamp multiple times.
  • You can submit as many entries as you like! However, please submit only one entry per card.
  • After submitting your entry, leave a comment on the entry just before yours.
  • Leave more comments on entries, if you’re so inclined. 🙂
  • To be eligible for a prize, you must be an active member of LiveLoveCards at the time the winner is announced and your card must have been made in the current month.

I couldn’t resist this Coffee Craze stamp set by Mint Owl Studio. I can see so many possibilities with this set!

December Challenge

I used the striped cup to randomly stamp all over my card, then I colored the whole thing with Copic markers.

Enjoy the video, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with!

Thinking about you
Thinking about you
I loved this challenge. I pulled an old SU! set which I refuse to get rid of as I think it's cute. "Happy Moments". This is really a case from pinterest. The polka dots, the flowers and the sentiment are all heat embossed. I used zig markers to color the flowers. It was interesting to color on kraft paper. I really liked the effect. I put crystal effects on the flowers. thanks for looking : ) I guess the polka dots fit in the challenge too... one dot stamped a lot of times!

I used three sets from The Stamps of Life for this card. The set names are gingerbread2stamp, moregingerbread2stamp, and GIRLgingerbread2stamp. They were new releases in October. This is the first card I have made with these gingerbread stamps.
Honeysuckle
Honeysuckle
The honeysuckle vine is from Lavina stamps. I randomly stamped for the background, then showcased the same stamp in the center. Copic markers were used to color the images.

I was pretty excited to "discover" I, indeed, had a geometric stamp. Found it as part of the Avery Elle Good Fortune set. Sentiment by Elizabeth Craft; Gansai Tambi watercolor. Card design by Kristina Werner.
Connie's Repeat Christmas Mice
Connie's Repeat Christmas Mice
These 3 little mice are singing Christmas carols somewhere in outback Australia. The gray mouse on the left is an ex-patriate from the USA wearing red, white, snd blue. The beige mouse on the right is a dinky-di Australian wearing the green and gold. And the brownish mouse in the middle is wearing red and green to represent traditional Christmas colours. Of course, they are all good Aussie mice now and so are naturally wearing their smart casual jeans.

The stamp set I used I have had for a long time. It is from Lawn Fawn. I stamped the pine branches repeatedly to create the tree effect. I heat embossed the ornaments silver and colored the large one with distress ink and the smaller ones with watercolors and covered with Glossy Accents. The background is salvaged ink from my craft sheet after doing ink blending on another project. Thanks for looking 🙂

This stamp combo (minus the candy corns) could be used for a birthday card too. I had so much fun coloring all those little candies. 🙂
Happy Hanukkah
Happy Hanukkah
I created this for a friend of ours. I used the negative portion of a Star of David mask I made, and stamped inside with little snowflake & heart stamps from 3 Lawn Fawn sets. I ink blended over that, just to emphasize the shape, and heat embossed the greeting. Please see my blog post for more details: https://andreaspaperantics.blogspot.com/2016/12/happy-hanukkah.html. Tfl! 🙂

Connie's Repeat Candle Card
Connie's Repeat Candle Card
This card is a CASE from another card I saw online that used the stamp set 'Make A Wish' by Two Paper Divas. Of course, I changed it a little bit to make it more mine. I used Copic markers to colour the candles in rainbow order. If I hadn't used a MISTI to position them, it would have been much more difficult to do.

Yes, I did enjoy this one very much. It also reminded me to use my crimper more often. Repeat stamping is going to be fun and I’m delighted you decided on this one for December!

I love watching you work! 🙂 I would have colored the stripe on the cup and been done with it, and my card would look ridiculous next to yours. Thanks for all the wonderful details you put into your creations!

Great card! I have had a fiskars crimper forever….probably my first paper craft tool before paper crafting was even a thing and I never use it anymore. It’s a great tool and I love the effect, so you inspired me to pull it out, dust it off and have it on my desk so I’ll use it soon.

Wow. You said it was messy coloring, but I totally disagree! This is beautiful! Thanks for the challenge. Don’t know if I’ll have the time to join in, but it’s inspiring to see what everyone is doing.
