Welcome back to my Guest Design weekend! I’m here today with the second round of using Gelatos in a card background.
The card for today starts the same as yesterday… heat embossing white on white and covering with gelatos. However, instead of spraying with water, I wipe with a baby wipe. You can tell that the color is much more subtle, which complements the vibrant flowers. Yesterday I created the reverse – a vibrant background and a subtle focal element.
Head on over to my post to see step by step photos and the supply list. Also see the video below.
Thanks for visiting me this weekend! Be sure to check back on Wednesday for regular scheduled programming. 🙂

Oh Darlene, I love this card and I will place an order for this paints next week. Love the fact that you really don’t need tools at all to aply them to your designs, how cool is that?
Thank you again for another great video tutorial.

Beautiful card! Love how you can blend those markers with your fingers. I might have to think about these as another coloring medium.
Mary Collier
another fabulous card! That white marker made wonderful highlights.

I love what you are doing with these markers and gelatos. I have found the gelateos online but can’t find the markers. Can you help by telling me where you got the markers? Thank you.
