Metallic Gelatos with Water

Metallic Gelatos

Happy Weekend All! This weekend I am doing a two-part post for Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft. My focus is how to use Gelatos in a card background.

The card for today uses the blue and green metallic Gelatos. Aren’t they beautiful? And they are really easy to work with because they go on so smooth and creamy. I also did a little something different for my card base, so be sure to check out the video for details.

Head on over to my post to see step by step photos and the supply list. Also see the video below.

I’ll be back tomorrow for another Gelato card, so stay tuned!

If you are on Facebook, I encourage you to LIKE the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft FB page. You can also follow their Pinterest and Twitter accounts.

WOW!! Darlene, how pretty this card is. I think I’m going to get those Gelatos a try. I love the fact that you don’t really need any tools to apply, you can just use your fingers. Again, I admire your steady hand to cut and draw anything, really fabulous.
It’s funny but, every time you use your clear embossing powder, the container looks almost empty and I always wonder when you will put more. Just a thought.
    Thanks for another great video.
    Maria.

Darlene, I just love this new video. I have ventured out of my comfort zone and started trying new items like the Gelatos, which I love by the way! I also purchased that PB paisley stamp and found those butterfly’s you used in that one video that floored me. Thanks for the inspiration!

Love your gelato ideas. I have the metallics and regular sets now, so I am learning a lot from your videos.

Darlene, you are my new goddess!! I have pinned almost all of your cards on my Pinterest board! You are SO talented and creative! Thank you so much for this site!! I made this card and used distress ink for the background. It came out really nice! I also made one with gelatos, but my color selection was limited and I didn’t like it as well. I guess I need to buy more gelatos!! Keep doing what your doing!! You’re the tops!! Your videos are FABULOUS!! I have watched just about all of them

I used my Xmas gift cards for some gelatos and a spellbinders set and used your card as a template. You can see the result on my blog if you like. I credited you. 😉 Thanks, as always, for inspiration.
