Craft Spaces Galore and BIG Giveaways!!

Hi All,

O.M.Gosh. I couldn’t be more excited about the new feature I added to the site today. It started as a suggestion by a couple of you… “it would be fun to see everyone’s craft room”. Of course it would! And so we now have a new section of LiveLoveCards called Craft Spaces Galore. Yay!!

So what’s the big deal? Here’s what you’ll find:

  • Craft Space Photos – A linkup for everyone to upload their craft space photo. Notice I say “space” because I know everyone doesn’t have the luxury of a room (I speak from experience here!). Upload a photo, upload a link to multiple photos, upload a blog post with a video – show us what you got!
  • My New Craft Space – I mentioned a few weeks ago that I am constructing a new craft room. I will chronicle my progress with photos and video. I am at the very beginning here – the room is just studs and a concrete floor. Watch the progress! Just made the first post today.
  • Featured Spaces – I would like to feature some of your craft spaces. I will review the uploaded photos and pick a few to feature. If I contact you, send me photos and/or video, and share with us how your space came together!
  • GIVEAWAYS. Okay, this is the most exciting part!! Seriously, I can hardly contain myself. After watching Stamp-n-Storage’s Crafted Spaces video series (love!), I was in contact with their owner, Brett. Brett agreed to sponsor our Craft Spaces Galore page and offer THREE ginormous giveaway prizes! Over the next three months, we will be giving away a Lock Down Punch Holder, a 60 Ink Pad Holder, and (my fav!) a Medium Die Tote with 40 Magnetic Cards!! Everyone who uploads a photo will be automatically entered into the drawing. And if you feel like sending Brett some love, visit Stamp-n-Storage to thank him. 🙂
  • Here’s a closer look at the prizes and the giveaway dates!

My hubby has just build me a 10 x 16 Craft Cottage in our back yard. I AM SO LUCKY !!!
I just finished painting the walls a few days ago and my hubby is busy laying the laminate flooring as I am typing this. I can’t wait to get all my cardmaking stuff moved in and organized !!!! I will post some pictures when it is finished.

Do I need to have a blog to enter my photo?
I seem to be having trouble getting the photo to post using my IPad.
Do I need to do it on my home computer?

No, you do not need a blog. And, in fact, I just figured out that I can turn off “URL”, which means you should be able to upload just a photo from your computer, instead of having to post the photo online first. When you’re uploading from the iPad, be sure to click “select” before adding the link. Otherwise, you will get an error.

Darlene, I am just starting out as a card maker and don’t have a space for a dedicated craft room. Sure wish I did! I was wondering if you have to submit a picture to win. I joined your LiveLoveCards several months ago and would still love the chance to win one of the free giveaways!

Hi Marilyn. I am picking the winner from the entries. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy. Just take a picture of your desk while you’re in the middle of a project! We all have messy desks. Sometimes I end up working in a 1 foot square area because I’ve cluttered up the rest of the space. 🙂

I have MS and am in a wheelchair so my BFF and I built an ink pad holder out of foam core from the dollar store. I had no idea how much work it was, but we persevered for two days…..and it turned out wonderful!

Sounds great Melodie! Sometimes the best storage items are the ones we make ourselves – they mean more and they usually are exactly what we want!
