Hi All!
I have another bottom-heavy card as inspiration for the June Challenge. This card is so simple – you can adapt it with any stamps and paper you have on hand.
For some reason, I had a bad Copic day and struggled a little with my cat. Oh well, these things happen. Here is a close-up of my coloring… my paper was so soaked from the overcoloring that it started to warp, lol!
Enjoy the video!

Well, I personally like the way you coloured the cat. Your colouring of the red cushion was excellent too. I also liked the little finishing touches you added. The dark red around the bottom of the cat made him look like he was sinking into the cushion. The grey shadow around the bottom of the cushion also made it look like it was grounded rather than floating These things always make your cards that little bit special. Even though this is a simple card, it sometimes harder to get the simple ones right because if you make a mistake, you can’t hide it with a bow or embellishments. Great job!!

Yay–a kitty card!!!! 😺 I had actually forgotten it’s Wednesday until I saw the e-mail for this card in my inbox. LOL Love how the coloring came out on your cat & the cushion, even if you struggled with the cat. I never knew Copic markers could warp paper, but I guess they can. I agree with Connie–I also love the extra touches you added, like the grey shading under the cushion & the dark red under the cat. Awesome job on the design, too! 😺 ~ Andrea
