Combining Stamp Sets

Eight Ball

Hi All,

Today I combined two stamp sets that are pretty different. I encourage you to go through your stash to see how you might take two seemingly different sets and make them work together. Think outside the box!

It has been awhile since I used the Good Fortune set on THIS CARD. Here is the inside of the card:

Eight Ball

I am going on a scrap weekend today!! I cannot tell you how excited I am. With all of life’s demands, I scrapbook only once a year at this retreat. I won’t be cooking or cleaning for 48 hours. Yay!! 🙂

Have a great weekend.

Oh, so adorable Darlene, and I totally agree with the sentiments…..Age is indeed, just a number.
I love how the Versafine Black Onix ink covered that big area in just two passes so completely.
    Thank you for sharing.

Darlene, this is adorable! I vaguely “get” the greeting, too! LOL I think the “Magic 8-ball” may pre-date me just a bit, but I can still appreciate the humor. Have fun at your retreat this weekend! ~ Andrea

Maybe you’ve spoken about this before, but why are you no longer coloring the whole image with the lightest Copic color before coloring with the dark and medium? What have I missed.

Hi calex89. I change my technique mostly depending on the size of the area. If it’s small, I usually don’t do the first layer of light so that I won’t saturate the paper.

Thanks so much! That makes perfect sense.

Cute card! One of these days I’m going to hand-draw a line on my card. You make it look so easy but it is very intimidating for me!

I hope you have a good time Darlene. I have a quick question. What do you use to generate your product links where you have one picture and multiple sources beneath it? Thanks.

Hi Tammy. I just use HTML. I explained it in the forum HERE.

Thanks Darlene. I have been using inlinkz and it takes me hours. Seriously. I haven’t done any coding in many years. But I’m hoping between what you provided and looking at what inlinkz generates Ill be able to figure it out. This stuff really should be easier than this. I’ll add any further questions onto the forum thread. Thanks again.

Darlene, do you know what’s going on with the company “Blick’s Art Material?” Going out of business maybe??? I saw your suggestion to buy Copic markers there and when I tried to order some they show to only have 23 out of 350 colors in stock. All of the rest say “out of stock. Back ordered and delivery date is indefinite.” Just curious….and disappointed. They have good prices on them. That is to say the few that they have in stock. ☹️
    Thanks

Thank you for bringing that to my attention! I emailed my contact to see what the story is. I will report back!

Dick Blick told me that they are definitely still selling Copic markers. Apparently, their vendor is having a hard time keeping up with demand. They anticipate having the markers back in stock sometime in April.
