Combining Stamp Sets

The Lift

Hi All,

I always love to discover ways to stretch stamp sets by combining them. I just purchased the Mama Elephant Page Huggers set (which would make adorable bookmarks!), and they work great with the Bear Ware set I got from Ellen Hutson. The possibilities are endless!

The bunny is from Page Huggers and the balloon is from Bear Ware. I created my own sentiment with the Labeler Alphabet set. I used the reverse stamps on THIS CARD.

Here is a close-up of the bunny:

I put another sentiment on the inside from the Altenew You Are set:

Enjoy!

Oh Darlene, this is just so adorable, love the little bunny being lifted by the bright red balloon!! I love it when I can combine stamp sets to create a scene, you did a fabulous job here with this two sets.
I have a quick question for you…..When you use the surgical tape to hold your dies, is it easy to peel off after running it through the Big Shot? I use washi tape and sometimes it sticks to my card stock and, when I try to peel it off, it rips my paper, grrrrr!! it makes me crazy!!!
Anyway, than you for sharing this adorable card, it will lift anybody’s spirits as soon as they take it out of the envelope.
    XO
    Maria.

Hi Maria. Yes, it sometimes sticks, but I do a couple of things to avoid rips…(1) “unstick” it a little by adhering it on your shirt or a fuzzy surface before putting it on your cardstock, (2) reuse the same piece over and over. It sticks less and less, but it still does the trick, and (3) remove the tape as close to the cardstock as you can. So, the tape that is pulled off is running parallel and very close to the cardstock. Try these tips and see if it helps!
