Hi All!
I’m so happy to report that Courtney is feeling much better. Her fever has been hovering around 100. She has also spent chunks of time at a normal temperature. So, I think she is finally on the mend. Thank you again for all your comments and support. 🙂
For today’s card, I kept the background simple to draw focus to my ice cream sundae. I created some chocolate syrup and sprinkles for the top. Here is a close-up:
I used the Simon Says Stamp Ice Cream die set for the scoops and the bowl. I originally was going to do an ice cream cone on this card but ended up creating a lunch note with it instead:
In the video, I added a section at the end where I show you how to color the cone to look like a wafer, so be sure to watch till the end!
Enjoy and have a great weekend!

WOW!! What wonderful cards! Of course my favorite is the chocolate sundae….I am a chocoholic after all. Love the sprinkles with the glossy accents. Brilliant!
Hope Courtney is feeling better today.

Loved that you used the colorless blender to create the waffle cone look! I wouldn’t have thought to do that and would’ve probably drawn it in with a brown marker.

Here I am again, first up. It’s the end of our Friday Down Under and a nice way to end the day. I have a cone and ice cream die and keep forgetting to use it. Now I have no excuses. Thanks so much for doing all the hard work for me so I can create a really cute card. I just loved both of your cards so much!

So glad to hear Courtney is starting to feel better. The card makes me want a hot fudge sundae which, currently, is NOT on my food regimen. Still it looks so yummy & gooey. Seriously, that cone is perfect.

Love, love it Darlene, now you made me hungry for strawberry ice cream. I love how you created the hot fudge on top of the yummy ice cream scoops, and those sprinkles are so sweet and look just perfect.
Where did you get the beads? they are so teeny, tiny and so beautiful.
Thank you for another fabulous video.

Hi Maria. I got the beads at the scrapbook convention in Arlington, TX. It was probably 5 years ago. I have since lost the packaging, so I don’t know who makes them. 🙁

Oooooh when I saw the close up of those sprinkles I got soooo excited!!! Okay, I did get a little hungry for chocolate, too! LOL You know if you make a card that makes someone crave what your coloring, you’ve done your job. HAHA! Love the card, it’s fantastic and the technique for that cone is UBER KEWL!! =) Also, the way you colored that bowl was pretty impressive…I would have never thought of that. I’m waiting on a set of stamps that has an ice cream cone…will have to remember that about the blender pen. Thanks for sharing another awesome card! =)
