Button Flower Thank You Card

Button Flower

Hi All,

Hope you are having a great weekend! I taught Zumba 6 times this week!! That’s a record for me… plus I spent several hours on choreography for 2 new songs. The only problem is that I’m constantly eating. Even with all this dancing, I don’t lose weight – I just eat more. Nothing is ever easy. Well, except this card… although I sure did take forever to figure out the angles on those 3 strips of paper. I edited out a lot of my “thinking”, but it still seems slow! This card was another that I just created – no previous version.

Anyway… I used my goodies from Two Peas in a Bucket. The paper and flower embellishment is from the new Kioshi line from Basic Grey. I really like the colors. When something goes well with black, I love it. And, the quality of these flowers is great. You know sometimes you buy embellishments that are cheap… they are thin or not glued straight or whatever. These are not that way at all – definitely worth the money.

Enjoy the video! I’ll be posting another on Wednesday that uses all Stampin’ Up! supplies!

    Hi Darlene,
I was just wondering, do you have measurements of the supplies used in your videos. I stumbled across your site from Splitcoaststampers and I just love it. I want to make some of the cards, but just wanted to know if you have the measurements. Thanks for your great work, am looking forward to more videos.

      Hi Darlene!

I’ve been doing all my cards at 5.5×4.25. I just cut an 8.5×11 piece of paper in half. I have tons of envelopes for that size and it’s the easiest to do. I may branch out eventually, but right now that’s what I’m doing. I’m so glad you enjoy the videos! I’m posting another today.
