Butterfly Circles

Butterfly Circle

Hi All!

Today I used my Color Burst powders and the Flickering Butterfly Circle die from Simon Says Stamp. I added some white butterflies around the circle, and I also popped up a few butterflies within the circle. The watercolor panel is clear embossed so it looks glossy. Here is a close-up:

I figured I might as well create a few while I was getting messy. Here are individual photos:

I have a weakness for butterflies and your card is a beauty. But, I’ll have to improvise until if and when I win the random draw in one of the Challenges. In the meantime, I’ll be using the SSS Ring Wreath Die for a similar effect.

Just beautiful. I always think there is something royal or magical about Butterflies, they are just instant happiness and make you want to stop just to watch them. They don’t seem to stop more than a few seconds anywhere but flutter all the time.
Love that you did a few different colours Darlene they are all pretty. I think the green and yellow grabbed my eye the most.
    Thank you for the inspiration.

    Darlene,
Love these cards! I ordered the die and it just arrived in today’s mail! Can’t wait to make a stack of these. A person can never have too many butterflies. They are so delicate, colorful, and in a way mysterious. They seem appropriate for about any occasion whether it be birthday, sympathy, or just thinking of you. Thanks for the video. Here in Ohio spring is really late! Hoping for better warmer days soon! Have a God-filled day.
