Bunny Love

Bunny Love

Hi All!

This card is in the spirit of the Pastel Challenge, and it’s also a card you could use for Easter… which is quickly approaching!

I really like this Happy Mail set because it comes with animals that face each other, like these bunnies:

Bunny Love

If you don’t have matching stamps like this, you could use mirror stamping like I did on this card.

Enjoy the video!

Thanks, Darlene, for another cute card. I love those bunnies. They are so sweet. I also like the ruffled embossing folder which I had missed completely when looking at the current Stampin Up products on offer. For anyone who didn’t know (like me), I just read on Google that the Easter bunny was brought to the US in the 1700s by Germans who settled in Pennsylvania. They had a tradition of an egg laying hare that they called the “Osterhase” or Oschter Haws”.

I wonder how that bunny became the “Easter” bunny.

That’s so interesting, Connie! Thank you for the education. I agree about Professor Google–whenever my mom or I have a question, I always say, “Google it!” LOL ~ Andrea

Really cute card, Darlene! I love the rich colors you used on the bunnies. It’s a nice contrast compared with the softer pink frame. Thanks so much for sharing this! I just got that stamp set recently, and have yet to get it inky (blushing in shame). Maybe I’ll have to pull it out now and play! 😺 ~ Andrea

Such a sweet card. I adore the pink shade and the ruffle really pops. I don’t know how we’ve almost gotten to Easter already. I think this year is on fast forward.

Love that embossing folder, the catalogue doesn’t do it justice. I love the sentiment too. 😎
